Ethnicity & Aging: Black Skin
Rough skin, uneven tone, including raised, pigmented growths called dermatosis papulosa nigra are all common skin ailments for those with dark skin tones.
Avoid mechanical exfoliants, irritating skincare ingredients such as alcohol, propylene glycol and lanolin, Intense Pulsed light (IPL) treatments, and abrasive lasers- all of which can cause light and dark spots.
